As part of our ‘People Who Help Us’ Topic, Nursery 2 had a very special visit from the police today! The officers came to tell us all about their important role in keeping people safe and helping our community. The children were very excited to see the police car and even had the opportunity to climb inside and explore it. The police officers showed them their uniform, and the different things they use to help them do their job, such as a radio, their police badge and handcuffs! The children were so excited to get involved. It was a wonderful hands-on experience that helped bring our learning to life and gave the children a better understanding of how the police help us every day!
