In order to promote creativity and a love for art, Holy Mary organised Art Week from Nursery 1 – Year 6.
Each year group looked at a specific artist throughout the week, learnt about their influences and techniques and some of their most famous work.
Over the course of the week the children had to make their own artwork based on the artist being studied in their class, and at the end of the week one student was awarded as the ‘artist of the week’, taking an artsy prize home!
