In Nursery 1 we are learning the basic colours. The past few weeks we introduced two new colours (orange and green) and we thought that there was no better way to do it than by mixing colours whilst playing together. To discover the colour orange, the children used a paintbrush to mix the colours red and yellow. Then, to find the colour green, in pairs, we painted their hand (one in yellow, the other one in blue) and by rubbing them together, they saw how the green colour appeared on their hands. They were very excited to see this.
