Doughnut Dominoes

To consolidate our understanding of fractions, decimals and percentages we played a game of Doughnut Dominoes. This is like dominoes but with a twist. The objective is to find 4 dominoes which link to create a doughnut shape.

Rules of the game:

  1. The dominoes are shared equally among players.
  2. Players pass dominoes to other team members in order to help one another complete their doughnut.
  3. The dominoes in front of each person should be visible to everyone.
  4. You can only give dominoes; you cannot take dominoes from someone else.

Mrs Schumacker gave us an extra challenge and we had to communicate using only gestures, no words! We learned lots and really enjoyed the lesson!
