Three of our Year 10 students carried out their first cake sale yesterday to complete their charity scheme, taking eight hours in buying the ingredients, baking, and selling cakes around their neighbourhood. Our students managed to raise around 400 euros and with all their baked cakes sold! It was a lot of work but also a lot of fun and excitement. These students even designed a logo to make tags to print out and sell by the cup-cake or the slice of cake! At least one more cake sale will follow before they hand in the money to the bank to aid the people of La Palma.
