Year 1 had a special visit from the police this week, who brought road safety to life! The children learnt three important steps for crossing the road safely: checking that the traffic lights are red, looking both ways three times, and making sure the cars have come to a complete stop. With a fun puppet show and a little Harry Potter magic, the police made learning these important rules both exciting and memorable. To top it all off, each child received their very own police officer badge, officially promoting them to Road Safety Officers! We hope they will wear their new titles with pride and remember to stay safe whenever they cross the road.
