On the 10th November the Year 10 students visited the Casa de Campo to put into practice the orienteering skills that they had learnt in the classroom. Luckily, it wasn’t raining and the sun was out, this made the task more enjoyable for both the students and staff involved. The exercise simulated the expedition that the students will have to do in the near future; the students had to work in teams without help from the accompanying teachers to follow a predetermined route that was set out on the map. The day was a success, both groups managed to successfully navigate their way around the route passing all the checkpoints to make it back to “Lago” in Casa de Campo.
