Year 13 art students visited the exhibition Invitadas at the Museo del Prado. The exhibition explores the role of women in society through the visual arts in Spain over the course of the 19th century. The various contexts in which these women have been presented, offered our students an opportunity to develop their ideas in their own artwork, as well as a chance to challenge and reflect on their own views on the role of women in art.
