Our Year 12 A level physics students attempted to measure the acceleration due to gravity (g) of an object falling freely from a range of different heights, and measuring the time taken for the object to fall using some very sophisticated apparatus including a trap door time mechanism. The data is then collected and a graph is drawn and by calculating the gradient a value for g can be calculated!
