Activities

Extra-curricular activities run from Tuesday-Thursday at Holy Mary. Students are encouraged to take on as many activities as they want, as long as time is left for learning, homework, and coursework.

In Year 10 and 11 there is an emphasis on taking on a leadership role, or assisting in an activity as well as participation.

Together, our students and teaching staff make up a vibrant community of individuals at Holy Mary British Catholic School, with a shared passion that teaching and learning should not be confined to the classroom. Instead, we strive to harness the creative spirit of our bright young minds, and inspire self-expression from a very young age.
Our fun extra-curricular programme is a key part of informal learning and a great opportunity to make new friends, as well as building social confidence, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills.

Held during lunch times or after school, these activities are hugely popular and range from sports, artistic endeavours and a choir, though we also run a daily homework club for those who want to study with the support and supervision of a staff member.

Amongst the array of clubs on offer are: Art, Science, Computer coding well as numerous opportunities in Music, Drama and Sport. We also run regular classes in ballet.
Most after-school activities end at 5.30pm, when participating children invariably leave school for the evening feeling animated and fulfilled.
