Art – Nursery 2 – Year 2

The children will learn basic art techniques in each of the  disciplines and learn how to work on different surfaces and  textures, make sculptures and mould. Art has many benefits for  children and not only does it help to promote their intellectual and  creative abilities but it also develops imagination.

Football – Nursery 2 – Year 2

Football has numerous benefits for the development of children  and teenagers. Not only does it stimulate physical and cognitive  development but it also helps develop values such as teamwork  and sportsmanship. This activity will take place in C/ Alfonso Rodriguez Santamaría for children from Nursery 2 – Reception.

Ballet – Nursery 2 & Reception

Ballet is a classical dance based on the combination of  movements, performed to the rythmn of music, with the aim of  telling a story through dance. This activity introduces students to  the world of music, rythmn, coordinaton and movement.

Chess – Year 1

Chess is a mental game that favours concentration, reasoning,  memory, probem solving and coordination. This mental game helps  children have initiative and develops logic skills. It helps them  adapt to unexpected situations and teaches them how to make precise and quick decisions under pressure.

Flamenco – Year 1 & Year 2

Children will learn to dance to the rhythm of music using both their  hands and feet. The children will work alongside the flamenco  teacher to learn a dance routine in order to be able to perform in an  end of year show. The Dance School Maria Rosa will organise and  host this event.
