Dear Parents,
It is with great pleasure that we publish the second set of GCSE examination results generated by Holy Mary pupils. These qualifications provide the first important layer of certification which form part of the process of applying directly to UK universities. We are very pleased with the overall pass rate of 86% (176 exams were passed out of the 205 examinations sat by last year’s Year 11 pupils). However, we will continue to work hard to further improve on that percentage pass rate, and to raise the percentage of A* and A grades (45%) earned by our Year 11 pupils.
