Holy Mary were delighted to be involved in an international schools football tournament hosted by the International School of Madrid. The tournament was for cadette boy students from Years 10 and 11.
Seven other schools took part in the competition, and this made for an exciting day of football competition.
Holy Mary got off to a great start by winning their first game 6-2 against Runnymede, and after more games we came up against the hosts, International School Madrid in the semi-finals. We won that game after penalties. After a hard fought final we lost to Kings College and so we had to settle for runners-up medals.
We are extremely proud of our boys for the way they played and conducted themselves throughout the tournament!
