Whilst learning the new rhyme “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” the Nursery 1 children became curious about “floating” and “sinking”. To further their understanding, together as a class they participated in an experiment where they placed objects from around the room into jars of water and discovered whether they “float” or “sink”.
