All of our Year 7 students attended a road safety activity day with the Municipal Police where they were given extensive training on the safe use of bicycles on the streets and also instruction on how to be a safe pedestrian. After receiving brief introductions and training they had the opportunity to practise their new skills on a safe road replica with crosswalks, traffic lights and signs. It was a good day for our students who participated with enthusiasm and learned valuable safety lessons that will make them better and safer citizens. We would like to thank the Municipal Police for taking time from their day to help our students.
