Year 8 students enjoyed three exciting days in Gredos, combining outdoor exploration, environmental learning and team-building activities.
During their stay, they hiked up to the mountain platform, analysed the landscape and explored how changes in people’s lifestyles have shaped the surrounding villages, comparing their past with their present situation. They also discovered the region’s biodiversity, studied food chains and took part in an interactive game exploring the impact of human activity on ecosystems.
Beyond the classroom, students strengthened their friendships through group games, enjoyed a memorable evening stargazing under the night sky and tried their hand at archery.
The trip was a wonderful opportunity to learn from nature, develop teamwork and create lasting memories together.
