Over the past few weeks, the students have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the topic Childhood: Then and Now. They have compared differences in education, clothing, hobbies, homes and toys across different time periods.
We discussed how materials have changed over time and identified key differences between schooling in the past and today. The children also compared toys and games from different generations, as well as the types of homes people grew up in.
As part of our learning, the children carried out fun interviews with parents and grandparents to find out about their childhood experiences. They then shared and compared their findings with one another, noticing both similarities and differences.
