Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition

In the first week of March, the Duke of Edinburgh group successfully completed their first expedition, travelling to the Sierra de Aracena for a few days. Despite the cold conditions, the students did really well and all managed to navigate the route and set up their camps, working together to cook their dinner on camping stoves. The expedition involves two days of hiking with a night spent in tents, which we have been preparing for since October. We are now looking forward to the students completing their qualifying expedition in the Serrania de Cuenca at the beginning of May. Hopefully the weather will be a bit warmer!
