The topic of the farm has been the Nursery 1 children’s favourite topic so far. They have been completing lots of different fun activities to learn about the farm and the farm animals.
They gave the pig a mud bath with mud made by them. They milked a cow, and then they poured the milk into a jar and we all shook it until it became butter. The children then spread that butter on a piece of bread and ate it as their snack. They were very proud of themselves. They also painted their own horses and then had a horse race with them. The children are now looking forward to celebrating their farm party, where they can come to school wearing a costume related to their favourite farm animal.
