The children in Reception have been learning all about habitats! They each prepared a presentation about an animal and they spoke about specific characteristics of the animal and the habitat it lives in. However, the habitat the children mostly enjoyed learning about was the Arctic. The children brought ice cubes from home and we discussed the different steps we need to make in order to make ice. The children then came up with different strategies on how to stack the ice blocks to make an igloo! It was a fantastic opportunity to work as a team to achieve an objective. Brilliant job Reception!
