We love learning all our new sounds in Reception and the songs that go with them. We have loved developing our fine motor skills and have been working really hard at being able to form these letters using our precursive font. We work really hard to develop our letter formation through a range of activities, such as using mini whiteboards, sound books, letter formation booklets and being able to write all over the table! It is so fun! We are also working on blending simple words using the sounds that we know. We love blending with our friends and helping each other to blend and sound out tricky words.
