In Reception the children have been learning all about Minibeasts! We did a book focus where we read “The Very Busy Spider” and “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and we talked about different minibeasts and their main characteristics. The children also prepared some fantastic presentations about minibeasts which were all super interesting. To celebrate the end of the topic, the children came to school dressed as different types of minibeasts or minibeast explorers and participated in many writing activities as well as a minibeast hunt around the school!
