This week in Nursery 2 we launched into our exciting new topic, Space! The children have loved exploring a range of space-themed stories and activities, learning all about day and night and how our sky changes from light in the daytime to dark in the nighttime. Through hands-on learning, the children created a special day and night craft, with one side showing the sun and clouds and the other the moon and stars, helping them understand how the world looks at different times of the day, while also developing their Fine Motor Skills. Through roleplaying, the children used their imagination and creativity to make rockets ‘blast off’ into outer space. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity grow as they explore this exciting new topic!
