Holy Mary Year 10 girls were invited to St George’s School in Madrid to play in a small tournament of Netball. The purpose of the tournament was for St George’s to assess their IGCSE PE students, so the standard was extremely high!
The tournament consisted of a round robin format in which each school would play each other once. There were 3 schools in total, Holy Mary, St George’s & Kings College.
The girls put on an outstanding performance and drew their first game against the hosts, St George’s.
In the final game, the girls turned up the intensity and secured a dominant win over Kings, winning 5-1! An amazing result!
This meant that Holy Mary shared the overall victory with St George’s who also drew one game and lost one game.
Well done Year 10 girls!
