These past few weeks, the children have been learning about different nursery rhymes through fun activities. For “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” the children were sorting stars by colours. When learning about “Incy Wincy Spider” they became artists and painted their own spider. Then we introduced “Miss Polly Had a Dolly” and the children were reenacting the song by pretending to be the doctor healing the dolly. They also pushed “Humpty Dumpty” from the wall to make a beautiful painting. Right now, the children are learning about “Hickory Dickory Dock”, so they have been playing with the clock they made and practising the numbers from one to five.
