Presentation from Pompeii Founder

Last Monday 11th of November, one of the founders of the well-known shoe company Pompeii (Jaime Garrastazu), gave a talk to our students from Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13.

Jaime spoke to our students about the beginnings of the company, all the difficulties they had encountered and he shared many other fascinating anecdotes. It was a very interesting talk for our students, in which Jaime highlighted several values, such as effort and perseverance, which are required to achieve personal goals. At the end of the presentation, our students asked numerous questions that Jaime answered patiently. He finished by offering a riddle to all of our students, and the winner won a pair of “zapas”. It was definitely a huge success and our students really enjoyed the talk!
