In Nursery 2 the children have been learning about different types of transport. This week we talked about water transport and how some float, such as boats and ships, and others such as submarines sink! The children chose different objects that we could find around the classroom such as feathers, crayons, coins, pompoms and shapes. Afterwards, we made hypotheses about what they thought would happen once they placed the objects in the water. We then discussed if the objects sank or floated in the water.
