Children and teachers of Holy Mary had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day!
In Years 1-6, the children made special World Book Day masks of their favourite book characters and brought them to school, where we held masked parades to show off our fabulous work! Throughout the day, the children took part in cross-curricular activities and worked with lots of different teachers to explore books from around the world. We wrote stories, created amazing pieces of artwork, and even made some mathematical mazes – all linked to different story books! We all had a fun and memorable day, celebrating reading and sharing our favourite books.
