In Art this term, Year 3 have been experimenting with different materials to create art pieces linked to our topic of Ancient Egypt. The children particularly enjoyed transforming themselves into Egyptian pharaohs. We talked about the head-dresses, jewellery and make-up that the Egyptians used. The children planned their own design and then created their own pharaoh using collage with different coloured papers. The finished pieces looked fantastic!
