Our Year 3 children had a wonderful time during their visit to the Botanical Garden. To tie in with our current Science topic “All about plants”, the boys and girls took part in a guided tour of the gardens. During the visit, they learned how to tell the age of trees by counting the rings on the trunk, discovered many interesting facts about different bushes and flowers and, finally, they all planted their own seeds. Now we just need to be patient and wait for them to grow!
