At Holy Mary, Yr 7 pupils take part in fortnightly debating classes. This complements their English lessons excellently and allows them to improve not only their spoken English but also develop their ability to persuade and argue effectively. Year 7A&B took part in a debate on whether homework should be banned and both sides presented some excellent points.
(PS. For the moment at least, homework at Holy Mary will not be banned!)
