Roman theatre, amphitheatre, arena, museum and mosaics… in a first for Holy Mary, students from Year 7 participated in an amazing trip to Mérida to discover relics and ruins from the Roman era. Guided tours helped reveal these treasures to us and enabled us to use our imagination to be able to envisage what Roman times would have been really like. The trip was a huge success and was thoroughly enjoyed by students and teachers alike.
